Eat a few days of just organic vegetables, fruits, brown rice & legumes. Drink a TON of water, including hot water with a lemon squeezed in (especially 1st thing in the morning). Take probiotics to help your intestine with digestion & absorption. Do gentle exercise, don’t overdo it during these days.
There is an herb called milk thistle that you can check out at most herbal shops. My friend says it detoxifies your whole body,She swears by it ….hope it helps..and a little hint coconut extract or a little vanilla extract will help the taste of some of these teas or a little drop of honey…good luck
If you look in drug/grocery stores (or even online) they sell this “7day detox” system, it comes in a box. But basically you use it for 7 day..and it flushes your system… so you will have to *** alot
These so called “detox” teas etc are ONLY high doses of vitamins and minerals (look on the back of the packet…what is in there that you can’t get from food, or multivitamins??).
Your body is incredibly effecient at detoxing itself..eg liver, kidneys.
My suggestion is don’t bother with them and try eating a more fruits, vegetables and non-processed foods.
Detox is, at best, a poor excuse for a good diet, and at worst it is potentially harmful.
Just stick with a balanced low-carb diet, exercise regularly, and remember that one should drink 8-10 cups (64-80 oz) of water daily (not including drinks containing alcohol or caffeine, as these are diuretics – things that make you *** – and will drain more water than they provide).

Most detox teas are herbal based teas. And to be quite frank… no herb actually tastes good. Over time you might get used to the taste and learn to enjoy, but it does take some getting used to.
Detox teas are a very safe way to detoxify the body. With all the toxins and free radicals going into our body, it could use a little help in eliminating some of the junk.
I personally use a variety of detox teas. The herbs/ingrediants you want to look for in the teas are dandelion root, burdock root, licorice root, juniper berries, ginger, red clover….etc. A favorite detox tea of mines even contains echinacea root which is excellent in building the immune system.
Loose teas are a little more inconvenient when it comes to brewing… but if that’s what you’re interested in try checking out SBSteas.com. They have a great selection of teas… both gourmet and herbal. Yogitea.com carries an even wider variety of teas in bagged form. Both brands are good quality… I think you will find something that can suit both your taste and body.
If you want a detox program, look into the Almighty Cleanse. Great product. I personally know Danny Vierra and have gone through 3 detox programs. In a few days I will be trying the Master Cleanse… I have not tried it before. Look into that as well. There are a ton of options out there. Detoxing is a great way to jump start a new lifestyle and get a fresh start. Good luck!!!
